Why use us

  • We are a Multi Award winning project management company.
  • As Project Managers, we display the highest level of skills for a leader in consultation and construction in the Built Environment. That role is to manage and mentor the entire team collaboratively to ensure that the project objectives are met harmoniously and expeditiously.
  • As Construction Delivery Strategists we are acute custodians of cost and are intimate with construction values. We are told by many people, including our clients, that we save money and time on projects. In general, we are the ‘eyes and ears’ for the whole process. The repeat business we have received from some clients is testimony to this.
  • Our delivery of projects is innovative in that we set the culture through the whole team at the onset. Innovation comes in many forms and is normally measured in savings of time and management of challenges which in turn always leads to money.
  • As Clients Representive / Agent, we manage all facets of the project including risk, value / cost and all relationships therein, allowing our clients to focus on their own business with peace of mind knowing that their objectives will be met.
  • Our philosophy for a positive and successful outcome is to have a transparent process, open, honest and frank communication.
  • We have no alliances or bias towards any particular consultancy, building practice or business which enables us to work ‘outside, looking in’ with the clients best interests to the fore.
  • Our role can be multi-faceted and not that of typical Project Managers. We work hard on developing plans and structures for the client.

We highly recommend them for any future projects and look forward to working with them again on the next stage of the Quarry Arts Centre’s re-development.”

Claire Nicholls, Quarry Arts Centre

Maunu Crematorium

“In a nut shell, Trevor made this project work. I placed on him some very strict limits on time available to complete the project, taking into account the highly sensitive nature of the area to be worked in and the cultural significance of the old cremator and the new cremator.”

Gary Taylor, Maunu Crematorium

“Appointing Griffiths & Associates to manage these projects on our behalf was one of the smartest property management decisions the Board of Trustees made, and proved to be a wise investment. Consequently, we have no hesitation in recommending Griffiths & Associates for their “no hassle, stress free” service.
We will certainly be working with them again for future property projects”

David Prchal, Morningside School

“It is without doubt that the work of Griffiths & Associates has been a major factor in our projects success. It is through their ability to combine quality service, expertise and relationships that we stand today a school proud of having on its site, an innovative and hugely valuable resource that will be a legacy for future generations of our students to enjoy.”

Sheryl Haines, Hukerenui School

“Their input saved us a great deal of anguish and maintained our sanity at a time when the developers were continuously extending the completion date. For this of course there was a fee but we felt that the outcome well worth the extra expense. We are happy to recommend them to anyone who is considering using their services. We would certainly use them again.”

Joan Allan, Lowes & Partners Optometrists

Hora Hora School Civils Works“Trevor, Hugh and Heather and the rest of the team worked hard to take the hassle and stress out of the projects for me with a professionalism and work ethic to be commended. Their knowledge of the MOE Property Management Handbook and collaborative style of project management, along with excellent communication made for a smooth process with the resulting two quality projects of which the school is very proud”.

Pat Newman, Hora Hora School

“Given that I would not allow the completion date to be moved, the fact that you have been instrumental in getting the house complete almost to the day that was planned 12 months ago, is a real credit to your organisational skills”.
“Had you not taken charge as you have, then the costs would have blown out significantly”.

Terry Newby, “Aqua View”

“You told us of your company´s unorthodox method of delivery which nurtured a culture within a team that we were impressed with. You promised us fiscal control together with tight timeline management and a transparent business process. Eight months on we are under budget and ahead of programme. The ´Concept to Keys´ method of delivery works thus far”.

Peter Burgess, Westmount School

One Tree Point School foyer“The success can be attributed largely to the honesty and integrity of all parties and the commitment to building a building of outstanding quality. This was facilitated by open communication lines, availability, flexibility and the Griffiths & Associates team´s commitment to us, the client”.

Adrian Smith, One Tree Point School

“From the initial discussion of ideas on a project, their enthusiasm is immediately apparent. We have always left the management of the entire project to them, confident in the knowledge that every detail will be attended to from design, pricing, finance, consents, hire of contractors, safety issues, documentation and a rapid construction rate, all of which leads to a very satisfactory project completion”.

Robin Cheer & Stephanie Read, Rocoft Holdings (Master Trade)

“Our Project Manager has also been excellent at facilitating interactions with the tradesmen and designers where necessary and been a hard working go-between. For professionals like us with little time to spare, this has been much appreciated”.

Brian Kent-Smith & Geoff Wallace, The Eye Specialists

“We would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Trevor & Heather to anyone who is contemplating a potential construction project. For ourselves, we would consider this to be an absolutely essential part of any of our future developments”.

Robin Cheer & Stephanie Read, Rocoft Holdings (Master Trade)

Oceans Resort Tutukaka“We have used Griffiths & Associates on other projects as their management style and administration systems are known to us. Trevor Griffiths was the ´true custodian´ of this project, whilst Heather Tomason kept the lid on an amazing amount of paperwork between all parties concerned”.

John Hamilton, Oceans Tutukaka

“Tauraroa Area School has benefitted from having a consultant who works for us. Griffiths and Associates negotiate on the school’s behalf in a very transparent way to ensure we get the buildings we want, at a cost we can afford. They listen closely to what our needs are. Because they are not working on commission, they have no incentive to boost the scope (and construction prices) of our projects. On behalf of the school, they talk the language of architects and contractors to ensure that the schools requirements are being met. Tauraroa Area School does not have drawers full of expensive architect’s drawings, never to become reality.

I am very happy to recommend Griffiths and Associates as a knowledgeable, trustworthy and cost effective partner for schools wishing to maximise the impact of their property dollar.”

Tauraroa Area School Principal, Grant Burns
