Whether cycling, exploring the numerous hiking tracks and coastal walkways or simply taking in the amazing scenic views, Shelley Lyford is happiest when outside soaking up the Northland environment.
Originally from Whangarei, Shelley has just returned from a 7-year stint working in various parts of Australia. The majority of her time there was spent working in NSW in the Electrical Infrastructure sector, but she was also employed in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia, working on the Fortescue Metals Group 8.1-billion-dollar Expansion Project - rail division. Needless to say that while Shelley found this time hugely beneficial for her career, she is certainly pleased to be back in close proximity to the Northland coastline again!
Shelley is loving the diversity of projects Griffiths is involved in, and the excitement which comes with starting each new project, and seeing it through to completion. Every day brings a new challenge and the team are more than willing to share their experiences to help successfully overcome them.
Shelley is positive and determined, with a humorous nature that instantly loosens up those around her. The skills Shelley has attained while working in Australia on large projects have truly benefited our entire team: she’s a fantastic team player and a huge supporter of the All Blacks and Super Rugby!
